Dr Louise Miller

Dr Louise Miller is a London-based GP with more than 25 years’ experience caring for patients across general practice, urgent care, and hospital medicine. She combines her clinical work with leadership roles shaping mental health, diabetes, and healthy living services across Barnet and London.

After studying medicine at King’s College London and psychology at UCL, Dr Miller built her career as a GP Principal in Hendon for over 16 years and has also worked in A&E at the Lister Hospital for more than a decade. These dual roles give her a wide breadth of experience in both everyday family medicine and urgent, complex care.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Miller leads on health strategy for the NHS. She is Live Well Clinical Lead for Barnet, helping to improve local services in mental health, weight management, and diabetes care, and has previously helped shape services across London through her role as Mental Health Clinical Lead.
