Specialities: I believe that mental and emotional well-being impacts on all aspects of health and I encourage my patients to keep well, and to age well. I also have an interest in women's health.

Profile: I have been a GP for 25 years working in both the NHS and private sectors in London, Australia and Oxford. After qualifying at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, I first worked as a GP in Fulham and later as a private GP in central London.

Here I found the extra time with my patients made a huge difference and I became a full time private GP soon after this. A 6 month trip to Australia turned into 9 years of living and working as a GP in two Australian cities before moving back to live and work in Oxford. I founded Mayfield Clinic in 2010 and brought together the current team.

I have 3 children, two of whom have left home. In my spare time, I play as much tennis as I can, as well as the occasional game of golf.

We have carefully selected team of expert GPs who are available for both in person and video GP consultations. By working with a small team of GPs, you will benefit from having a named doctor who you can consistently book your appointments with, and who knows your medical history.

Easy online booking of defined 30 minute booking slots

By booking a private GP appointment at Mayfield Clinic, you will benefit from a defined 30-minute consultation with an expert GP. This allows you the time to discuss your health concern in full, receive detailed advice or information on your treatment plan and to ask any questions you may have.

Direct doctor interaction with no e-consults required

By booking an appointment at Mayfield Clinic, you will have direct doctor interaction from the outset.

Unlike other GP provisions, we don’t require you to complete an online e-consult form before being able to book to see a GP. Simply visit our website to book your appointment where you will be able to discuss your health concerns directly with a doctor.

The Oxford Parkway Park and Ride station, located on the Banbury Road about a mile north of Summertown, provides frequent bus service into the city. Alternatively, parking is available for £2 per hour in the Summertown Car Park, only a 2-minute walk from Mayfield Clinic.
