Dr Waqar Khurshid

Dr Waqar Khurshidis a General Practitioner with over 11 years of NHS experience and 3 years working in a leading London private GP practice before joining Mayfield Clinic. He provides comprehensive, patient-focused care across the full spectrum of general practice, with particular interests in preventative medicine, long-term condition management, and urgent care. His background in both NHS and private healthcare has given him broad expertise in supporting patients with diverse health needs. Dr Khurshid studied medicine at King’s College London and later completed an MSc in Global Health Science & Epidemiology at the University of Oxford. He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Faculty of Public Health. His academic work has included published research in diabetes, health economics, and preventative care. Outside of medicine, Dr Khurshid enjoys travelling, hiking, and playing padel.
