With over 15 years’ experience working as a doctor, I combine clinical expertise with a warm, patient-centred approach. I specialise in respiratory health, lifestyle and preventative medicine, women’s health, and mental wellbeing. I strongly believe the choices we make today shape our health tomorrow.
I qualified from the University of Cambridge in 2007 and completed my foundation training there before moving to London for core medical training. This gave me a strong grounding across medical specialties, particularly cardiology and respiratory medicine, before undertaking my GP training in London and completing it in Stockport. Since then, I have worked across multiple settings in general practice and urgent care.
I have a broad range of clinical interests, with particular expertise in respiratory medicine — especially the management of asthma and COPD. I am also passionate about the links between environment and health, and how greener approaches to healthcare can improve lives. Alongside this, my interests include lifestyle medicine and health promotion, women’s health, paediatrics, and mental wellbeing. I aim to support patients in making choices that help them feel healthier, stronger, and more resilient.
Throughout my career I have been committed to equitable, compassionate care. I have previously worked to support veterans and other communities who may find healthcare harder to access, and these experiences have shaped my empathetic, patient-centred approach. I believe that every patient deserves to feel listened to, respected, and fully involved in decisions about their health.
I have lived in Altrincham since 2017 and love the camaraderie and community spirit of the area. I feel it is a real privilege as a GP to be part of such a thriving community.
As a mum to three very active children, much of my free time is spent on the side of a football or hockey pitch, come rain or shine. Outside of family life, I enjoy running and hiking — including recently summiting Kilimanjaro for charity — as well as cooking, baking, reading, and enjoying Manchester’s vibrant music and fine dining scene.
