The Metabolic & Nutritional Health tests are a group of blood tests aimed at measuring key markers related to metabolism, nutritional status, and overall health—such as blood sugar control, vitamin levels, and alcohol consumption.
Collecting a sample is straightforward. Each kit includes all materials and detailed instructions. You will use a sterile lancet to prick your finger and collect a small blood sample, then post it to our accredited laboratory in the prepaid envelope provided.
Results are usually available within 1 to 7 days of the lab receiving your sample, depending on the specific test. You will receive a secure, detailed report through our patient portal.
Each kit contains clear step-by-step guidance to ensure you take an accurate sample. Our laboratory only processes samples that meet quality standards. If there is an issue, we will contact you and arrange a replacement or next steps, free of charge.
After receiving your results, you can book a follow-up GP consultation—online or in person—for advice and next steps. For abnormal or unclear results, we recommend a GP review to discuss your health and options moving forward.
