Continuity of care is an important part of delivering general practice effectively. That's why generally speaking our patients will see the same GP regularly, building a relationship over time. That said, our GPs work as a team, and will all be able to deliver you informed and considered medical advice.
We deliver face to face general practice from a number of locations across the country, and you are welcome to consult face to face. However, our GPs can also consult over the phone or via video if more convenient for you.
Yes you should. All patients eligible for NHS care should maintain an NHS GP registration, even if you exclusively see your Mayfield Clinic GP. Your NHS GP maintains your primary patient record, and should you need to use any NHS services (such as NHS A&E), they will remain your registered practice.
You can either book online via the Book appointment button, or you can contact the Members' call line, Email or WhatsApp line during office hours, and our team will schedule an appointment on your behalf.
We prioritise appointment slots for Members, and will endeavour to offer same day appointments wherever possible.
Our Hitchin clinic is ideally positioned to serve Baldock residents, located just 5.4 miles away via the A505. The journey from Baldock town centre to our practice takes approximately 10 minutes by car, making us one of the most accessible private medical options in the area.
Baldock is perfectly connected to our services via major transport links. Whether you're travelling from the historic market town centre near the High Street, or from residential areas like Clothall Road or Weston Way, you'll find us easily accessible. The A1(M) provides excellent connectivity, while regular bus services between Baldock and Hitchin make our clinic reachable for those preferring public transport.
We serve patients across North Hertfordshire, including neighbouring towns like Letchworth Garden City, Royston, and Stotfold. Our strategic location means that whether you're based in Baldock's newer developments or the charming older parts of town near the Knights Templar School area, quality private healthcare is never far away.

There are a limited number of issues we can't treat.
