Yes. Our MRSA culture swab kit is processed in a UKAS-accredited laboratory using gold-standard microbiology techniques. When you follow the instructions carefully, accuracy and reliability match clinical swabs taken in hospitals or GP practices.
Wash your hands, gently swab inside each nostril, then swab the groin area as instructed. Place both purple-lidded Amies swabs into the transport tubes, seal, and post using the prepaid envelope.
Once the lab receives your samples, results are typically available within 3–5 working days. We’ll notify you by email or phone, and you can book a GP follow-up in person or via video (additional fees apply).
