Human papillomavirus type 16 is a high-risk strain linked to over half of cervical cancers. Early detection helps guide timely treatment.
Human papillomavirus type 18 is another high-risk strain associated with cervical and other anogenital cancers. Identifying it early reduces health risks.
This covers the remaining 17 high-risk HPV subtypes beyond 16 and 18. Detecting these ‘Other’ types is critical for comprehensive cervical screening.
The High-Risk HPV DNA Self-Sampling Test screens for 19 high-risk human papillomavirus subtypes, reported as type 16, type 18 or “Others”. It’s a key part of cervical screening and sexual health care, helping to identify infections linked to cervical cancer.
Self-sampling empowers you with privacy, convenience and control. It’s endorsed by public health bodies as an effective at-home option alongside traditional cervical screening programs.
Yes. Our HPV self-sampling kit lets you test for high-risk HPV subtypes (16, 18 or Others) in the privacy of your home. Simply collect a vaginal swab using the Qvintip device and send it back in the pre-paid envelope.
The Qvintip vaginal swab self-collection method has been shown to be highly accurate for detecting high-risk HPV DNA. Your sample is analysed in a UK-accredited laboratory, and we compare results against gold-standard clinical tests.
Wash your hands, insert the Qvintip swab into the vaginal canal as instructed, rotate gently, then place it into the collection tube. Detailed step-by-step instructions and a return envelope are included in your kit.
You’ll receive your results within 5–7 working days of receipt at our UK-accredited lab. We’ll notify you by email when results are ready, and you can view them securely online.
No GP referral is needed. This is a self-collect at-home kit. Once your sample is returned and processed, you can arrange an optional GP follow-up appointment in person or via video (additional fees apply).
Get started by choosing the right at-home blood test kit for your needs — whether it's for cholesterol, thyroid, vitamin levels, or general health screening. Your kit is delivered in discreet, secure packaging.
Using our easy-to-follow instructions, collect a small blood sample with the included lancet and tube. No need for a clinic visit — everything you need for accurate testing is in the kit.
Place your sample in the prepaid return envelope and post it to our certified partner lab. Our labs follow the highest standards to ensure fast, reliable blood analysis.
You’ll receive a text message with your results as soon as they’re ready — usually within 1–3 days. A full lab report is included, giving you a clear breakdown of your blood test findings. Need help understanding your results? You can book a follow-up consultation with one of our clinicians at any time.
