This at-home sexual health test is important for:
1. Wash your hands and open the kit on a clean surface.
2. Gently insert the swab 2–3 cm into the rectum and rotate for 10–15 seconds.
3. Place the swab into the labelled transport tube and seal tightly.
4. Complete the request form and mail the sample back in the prepaid envelope.

Our At-Home Rectal Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea Test Kit uses the Aptima multisite swab system for highly accurate results. In clinical studies, Aptima swabs demonstrate over 95% sensitivity and specificity. However, no test is 100% accurate. If you have symptoms or a high risk of exposure, please contact a healthcare professional regardless of your result.

You will receive your results via secure email within 3–5 days of the lab receiving your sample. If your result is positive, our GP team will be in touch to discuss next steps and treatment options (additional fees may apply).
Yes. The test kit is fully CE-marked and uses the same laboratory processes as in-clinic tests. Your privacy is protected: samples are identified by a unique code, and no personal details are shared with the laboratory.
If your test is positive for chlamydia or gonorrhoea, you’ll be offered a GP consultation (in person or via video) to discuss prescriptions and partner notification. Treatment plans start from £50. Our team will guide you through every step.
