Lipoprotein(a), often abbreviated Lp(a), is a type of lipoprotein particle that carries cholesterol and fats through your bloodstream. High levels of Lp(a) are genetically determined and linked to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, including heart attacks and strokes.

Yes. Our at-home Lipoprotein(a) blood test kit uses the same validated laboratory methods as in-clinic testing. Results are reliable when you follow the instructions and return your sample promptly.
To perform the test, you use the small-volume blood collection kit (TDL Tiny) included in your home blood testing kit. You’ll prick your finger, collect drops of blood into the sample device, seal it, and send it to our laboratory using the prepaid envelope. Full instructions are provided in the kit.
We typically process and report results within 3–5 working days of receiving your sample in the lab. You’ll receive an email notification when your results are ready to view online.
