How we help

Our Development & Growth service provides comprehensive, child-centred assessment for babies, children and teenagers up to 18. Dr Nicholas Richens offers careful history-taking, examination and use of age-appropriate screening tools to identify strengths, delays and potential risks—and to map a clear plan.

• Milestone assessments: motor, language, social and adaptive skills, with practical strategies to support progress at home and school.
• Growth monitoring: accurate measurements plotted on centile charts, growth velocity review, and guidance on nutrition, sleep and activity.
• Developmental screening: structured tools to flag potential concerns such as global developmental delay, specific learning difficulties or neurodevelopmental patterns, and to guide next steps.
• Early-intervention support: tailored advice and, where appropriate, timely referral to speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy or community services.
