Our HIV 1 & 2 Antibodies & p24 Antigen home blood test kit uses a small-volume self-sampling blood collection device. You collect a few drops of blood onto a special card, send it to our accredited lab, and receive your secure results online. The test detects both HIV antibodies and the p24 antigen for reliable screening.
When used at least 4 weeks after potential exposure, our at-home blood test kit is over 99% accurate in detecting HIV antibodies and p24 antigen. Early p24 antigen detection improves sensitivity in the first weeks post-exposure.
p24 antigen can be detected as early as 2–3 weeks after exposure to HIV, before antibodies develop. We recommend waiting at least 4 weeks for the most reliable combined antibody/p24 antigen result.
Simply use the included lancet to prick your fingertip, collect a few drops of blood into the small-volume self-sampling kit, allow the sample to dry, then return it in the prepaid envelope. Full instructions are in the pack.
Yes. After your at-home HIV test results are delivered, you can book a follow-up GP appointment with Mayfield Clinic in person or via video call (additional fees apply) to discuss next steps and any treatment options.
