Calprotectin is a protein released by white blood cells in the gut. Elevated levels indicate intestinal inflammation and can help distinguish inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
FIT measures trace amounts of human haemoglobin in stool. It is a sensitive marker for detecting occult (hidden) gastrointestinal bleeding and early signs of colorectal cancer or polyps.
The Calprotectin/QFIT Profile (Combined) self-collect kit is an at-home testing kit that measures two key markers in your stool: faecal calprotectin and trace faecal haemoglobin (Quantitative Faecal Immunochemical Test, or FIT). It’s designed so you can easily test for calprotectin at home and screen for hidden blood without a clinical visit.
“Convenient, discreet and accurate—our combined home testing kit gives you fast insights into gut inflammation and bleeding.”
Yes. Our combined kit uses a QFIT collection device to detect trace human haemoglobin in stool, effectively screening for hidden blood as part of gut health monitoring.
You collect a small stool sample using the included QFIT collection device, seal the sample tube, and mail it back to our laboratory in the pre-paid envelope. No clinic visit is required.
Results are typically available within 5–7 working days of receipt at the lab. You’ll be notified by email once your secure online report is ready.
Although called a “blood test kit,” FIT actually measures tiny amounts of human haemoglobin in your stool, not your blood. It’s ideal for at-home colorectal screening.
Anyone with gut symptoms—such as abdominal pain, changes in bowel habit or unexplained weight loss—and those needing IBD monitoring can benefit. Always consult your GP with concerns.

Using our easy-to-follow instructions, collect a small blood sample with the included lancet and tube. No need for a clinic visit — everything you need for accurate testing is in the kit.
Place your sample in the prepaid return envelope and post it to our certified partner lab. Our labs follow the highest standards to ensure fast, reliable blood analysis.
You’ll receive a text message with your results as soon as they’re ready — usually within 1–3 days. A full lab report is included, giving you a clear breakdown of your blood test findings. Need help understanding your results? You can book a follow-up consultation with one of our clinicians at any time.
