Continuity of care is an important part of delivering general practice effectively. That's why generally speaking our patients will see the same GP regularly, building a relationship over time. That said, our GPs work as a team, and will all be able to deliver you informed and considered medical advice.
We deliver face to face general practice from a number of locations across the country, and you are welcome to consult face to face. However, our GPs can also consult over the phone or via video if more convenient for you.
Yes you should. All patients eligible for NHS care should maintain an NHS GP registration, even if you exclusively see your Mayfield Clinic GP. Your NHS GP maintains your primary patient record, and should you need to use any NHS services (such as NHS A&E), they will remain your registered practice.
You can either book online via the Book appointment button, or you can contact the Members' call line, Email or WhatsApp line during office hours, and our team will schedule an appointment on your behalf.
We prioritise appointment slots for Members, and will endeavour to offer same day appointments wherever possible.
Our Hampstead practice is perfectly positioned to serve Finchley, located just 3.5 miles away via the A41 Finchley Road. The journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes by car, making us one of the most accessible private GP services for Finchley residents.
Finchley's excellent transport links make reaching our practice straightforward. The Northern Line connects Finchley Central and East Finchley stations directly to Hampstead, while West Finchley residents can easily drive via the North Circular (A406) and connect to Finchley Road.
We serve patients from across the N2, N3, and N12 postcodes, including East Finchley, West Finchley, Finchley Central, and Church End. Our location also makes us convenient for residents of neighbouring areas like Golders Green, Muswell Hill, and North Finchley.
