HRT Reviews in Farnham: Getting the Dose Right

Private GP

26/08/2026 by Dr James Hubbard

Starting HRT is only half the job. The prescriptions that transform lives are usually the ones that were reviewed: adjusted once, twice, sometimes three times until preparation, dose and route fit the woman taking them. If your HRT is 'sort of working', that gap is worth closing.

Signs your HRT deserves a review

What a review at our Farnham clinic involves

A full appointment with a GP experienced in menopause care: your current regime and its history, what's working and what isn't, examination and blood tests where useful, and an adjusted plan. That might mean a different dose, preparation or route, or sometimes the reassurance that what you have is right. Follow-up is with the same GP, so tuning actually converges instead of restarting.

Prescribed elsewhere? Still welcome

Many patients come to us for reviews of HRT started elsewhere. Bring your current prescription details and any recent results; we'll take it from there, and coordinate with your NHS GP if you'd like us to.
