Professional private immunisations for you and your family

Vaccinations are the most effective way to protect you and your family from infectious diseases, and our private clinic provides access to a comprehensive range of immunisations and travel vaccines when you need them. Our experienced private GPs understand the importance of vaccination in maintaining both individual and community health.

How vaccinations protect your health:

"Getting my travel vaccines privately meant I could travel with confidence, knowing I was properly protected. The GP explained everything clearly and put my mind at ease." - Patient testimonial

Vaccines work by teaching your immune system to create antibodies, preparing your body to fight diseases you may encounter later. Our private GPs provide evidence-based vaccination advice, helping you navigate through misinformation and ensuring you receive professional, accurate guidance based on the latest NHS guidelines and clinical evidence.

Frequently asked questions

What vaccines do you offer?

Our doctors can deliver all common travel and childhood vaccines. These include chickenpox, HPV, Hepatitis B, Diphtheria, Tetanus and Poliomyelitis, Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Meningitis, Shingles, Pertussis and Hepatitis A.

Which vaccine do I need?

If you are unsure which vaccination(s) you require, please book a GP appointment - we are unable to advise about vaccines within a standard vaccination consultation which is just for administering the vaccine.

What about vaccinating children?

Children aged 0-11 will require a children's vaccination consultation. It is the responsibility of the parent to restrain their child. If the healthcare professional is unable to administer the vaccination, the appointment is non-refundable and will need to be rebooked.

What appointment do I need to book to get my vaccine?

If you know what vaccine(s) you need, you can book an immunisation appointment and order and pay for the vaccines you require. During your immunisation appointment the GP will give you your vaccine. The immunisation appointment is free for members (up to 4 per year) and £125 for non-members. All the vaccines are individually priced, and you will be charged for these as you book. Please note, if you require several doses of a vaccine, you will be charged for each vaccine and each immunisation appointment you need. If you don’t know what vaccine you need, please book a standard GP appointment. Your GP will discuss your options and advise you on which vaccine you need. You can then book your immunisation appointment and order and pay for your vaccine. Please note, if you require several doses of a vaccine, you will be charged for each vaccine and each immunisation appointment you need.

Does using Mayfield Clinic affect my NHS GP?

You can use Mayfield Clinic alongside your existing NHS GP practice. We believe in joined-up care; we don’t believe that it is in your best interests to have different doctors independently trying to treat you. For this reason, once you’ve seen a Mayfield Clinic GP we aim (with your permission) to share your consultation notes back with your current NHS GP. For example, if you can’t get an appointment at your local GP practice this week, you can book in with Mayfield Clinic’s GPs. With your consent, we’ll share the Mayfield Clinic consultation notes back with you and your NHS GP, so that when you next see your NHS GP they will have a full picture of your care history.

How do I obtain my vaccination details?

At the end of your appointment you will be provided with a copy of your vaccination details; this immunisation record can be obtained again in the future for an additional £30.
