What we can’t help with

Mayfield Clinic is a GP service and can offer much the same service as your regular GP. As with any GP service, there are some limitations to what we are able to treat. If you have any of the following you will need to be seen in a different setting:

1. If you have a life threatening condition, you should follow NHS advice
2. Major trauma on any part of the body, including head and neck injuries please dial 999 or go to the emergency department
3. Life threatening bleeding, including sudden or heavy bleeding please dail 999 or go to the emergency deparment
4. Prescription requests for controlled drugs, benzodiazepines or opiate pain-killers
5. NHS prescriptions

Our Clinical Psychologists are only able to see patients referred by Mayfield Clinic GPs
