The most common signs of gastrointestinal disorders include no improvement in your digestive discomfort for two weeks, a sudden, persistent change in the pattern of how your bowels work, and worsening heartburn, indigestion or stomach pain.
In addition to medical treatments, lifestyle and dietary changes can contribute to maintaining a healthy digestive system. For example, cutting down on fat, avoiding spicy foods, and a diet rich in healthy fibre can all contribute to your continued digestive health.
