Mayfield Clinic is not an emergency service and so we do not treat emergencies. If you think you have a medical emergency, please call 111/999 or go to your nearest A&E department.
Here at Mayfield Clinic, we understand that waiting for your NHS GP can be time-consuming and frustrating. That's why we offer same-day appointments with our expertly trained doctors, both in-person and online, through video consultations.
What we offer
We understand that psychological health is paramount to each individual's functioning and wellbeing. That's why our private doctors provide evidence-based treatment for a wide range of psychological problems.
Our work always begins with a robust assessment, we use a combination of methods to obtain a comprehensive understanding (including psychometric testing where relevant) of how past and present factors contribute to the development of psychological disorders. Upon the conclusion of this assessment, we utilise a range of psychological interventions that are well evidenced, clinically proven, in line with national treatment guidelines, and suited to the individual profile and problem.
Clinically we work with people to address a range of problems including anxiety, depression, panic disorder, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety, health anxiety, sleep difficulties, self-esteem, assertiveness, body image, personality difficulties, and emotional functioning. Our psychologists also have specialist skills in assessing, diagnosing, and managing Neuro-developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, and Learning Disability.
