No, you don’t need a referral for a physiotherapy appointment at Mayfield Clinic.
You can use Mayfield Clinic alongside your existing NHS GP practice. We believe in joined up care; we don’t believe that it is in your best interests to have different health professionals independently trying to treat you. With your consent, we can share your notes back to your NHS GP.
Initial physiotherapy appointments are 60 minutes long which gives your physiotherapist time to understand your pain or injury, assess the causes and devise a treatment plan. Follow up appointments are 45 minutes.p
