Certificate of Recovery from COVID-19

From £149

In Stock

Had a positive COVID test in the last 6 months? Instead of risking a positive PCR test, many countries will now accept a COVID-19 Certificate of Recovery as a method of meeting entry requirements.

The Certificate confirms recent infection with SARS-CoV-2 via PCR, and your subsequent recovery. We offer this as an online submission service, so no need to visit the clinic!

To obtain a Certificate of Recovery you must have the following:

  • A positive result no more than 180 days old, with your full name and the test date (this varies depending on destination, please check before booking)
  • You must not have symptoms of a cough or fever
  • You can access the service on Day 8, with Day 0 being the day the positive test was taken, as long as you have completed your government mandated isolation period and produced two negative LFTs 24 hours apart).
  • Please note, that for travel to Australia and Austria you will only be able to access the service on Day 15.

To receive the Certificate of Recovery you will need to complete an online submission which will be reviewed by a healthcare professional.

We can only issue Certificates during our opening hours (9am-5.30pm) but you can make your submission at any time.

Reliable and trustworthy private PCR testing

Looking for reliable private COVID testing for travel? At Mayfield Clinic, we work with leading general practitioners all of whom are trained and work for the NHS in Oxford. Our team are registered with the General Medical Council and work under Mayfield Clinic's CQC registration. We have passed UKAS Stage 3 for the provision of COVID testing.

When you visit one of our clinics for a clinician-led test, a trained healthcare professional will collect the required sample from you. Having a trained professional take the sample reduces the risk of invalid results. Additionally, our clinicians can provide signed certification confirming your identity and that they collected the sample.

Please bring photo ID. If you want your passport number added to any documentation, please also bring your passport.

There are 3 outcomes of your test:

  • Positive - You are infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Please immediately follow PHE England guidance to isolate along with your household
  • Negative - You are not infected with the virus. Please continue to take sensible precautions, if you were self-isolating as an international arrival you may stop self-isolating.
  • Invalid - Occurs in 1-3% of samples. Typically (but not exclusively) this arises when insufficient human material is present on the swab sample, and is more frequent with home test kit samples. It can be mitigated by using our practitioner-led testing service. You must continue to isolate as an international arrival

Once you've collected your sample (self-test) or seen a practitioner for a sample collection, you will need to register your kit barcode according to the provided instructions. Results will be sent through to the registered email. Please check your junk mail if no results have been received at the expected time, and then contact info@mayfieldclinic.co.uk if still not resolved.

Although we seek to use the most accurate tests available, no test is 100% accurate and we are not able to guarantee a specific outcome from your COVID-19 test.

Results timelines should be treated as a guideline; they are not guaranteed and you should make plans accordingly. Please read our COVID-19 Testing Terms and Conditions and our Terms and Conditions.
