Increasingly travellers are requiring a same day PCR test or a PCR result delivering results within 24 hours. At Mayfield Clinic, we've offered a same day PCR service through out 2021. Guaranteed same day results are tricky to deliver, but over the duration of a crisis, by maintaining multiple lab relationships we've developed a service that returns PCR test results to travellers with over 99% consistency.
Each month we publish our latest testing turnarounds for same day and next day PCR results. These can be accessed via the News section of our website. If you need a rapid coronavirus test, our service is ideal. We deliver extremely fast results for urgent travel, or just for peace of mind. Same day results are returned before midnight same day, and this can be delivered for Fit To Fly / Travel testing, Test To Release or for Day 2/8.

End your travel isolation by taking a PCR test on Day 5 (where Day 0 is the day of arrival back into the UK). Upon receipt of a negative result, you can end your quarantine.
All of our PCR test results include a test result that can be used for travel. This result acts as a 'Fit To Fly' certificate, by confirming your result, your identity (including a passport number), your personal details, and the time and date of the swab sample and laboratory report.
Confirm if you are currently carrying SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) infection by taking a PCR test. A PCR test is appropriate for identifying current infection from between day 0 (the day of first exposure) up to day 14. After day 14, an antibody test may be more suitable
Complete the government's mandatory testing for travellers entering the UK by submitting a Day 2 and Day 8 PCR sample. Positive results from Day 2 are sent for genomic sequencing to identify the strain of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
All our PCR testing falls under our UKAS accreditation
