The latest travel quarantine process requires travellers entering back into the UK to take a test on Day 2 and Day 8 after their return (which is typically considered Day 0).
Until 1st March, this testing is being delivered by the NHS as a private service. Further details can be found here https://www.gov.uk/guidance/ho... including guidance on how to order.
Travellers from 'red' listed countries will have to isolate in government arranged hotel accommodation. Travellers from 'amber' countries are still able to isolate at home, and use the 'Test To Release' scheme to end their isolation upon receipt of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result, where the test sample is taken at least 5 days after arrival back in the UK.
We continue to deliver this Day 5 Test To Release service, with further details available here.
