Meet Dr Katie Kelly

We are very pleased to introduce our newest member of the team, Dr Katie Kelly.

Dr Katie Kelly completed her Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of East London and completed her doctoral thesis under the supervision of Professor David Harper. She is also one of several co-authors who have worked closely with Dr Angela Sweeney for the past 5 years at the University of St George’s London to develop best-practice guidance for assessing trauma in talking therapy services.

Dr Kelly currently holds the role of Senior Clinical Psychologist within the Mental Health Transformation Programme in City & Hackney Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams, East London NHS Foundation Trust. She holds the post of Honorary Teaching Fellow at University College London as part of their Postgraduate Diploma in CBT for Psychosis and has specialist training in CBT and family interventions for those with a diagnosis of psychosis.

She is also currently studying for a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology & Religion at the University of Oxford and recently founded Rock & Refuge, an organisation aimed at delivering training, consultation and supervision to Christian organisations in their responses to, and understanding of, mental health difficulties.
