Dr James Hunt

I gained my Medical Degree in 2002 from Cardiff University after spending my younger years in Devon. I then completed a medical rotation at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth and Torbay Hospital, Torquay, working for 5 years in the specialities of Oncology, Haematology, Paediatrics, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Geriatric Medicine. After specialising in General Practice in 2008 I gained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners which allowed me to work internationally. I spent 5 years working in Australia expanding my skills to include Obstetric care, Minor Surgery and Tropical Medicine. While in Australia I gained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

I now work exclusively in General Practice and enjoy the diverse challenges the field provides. My philosophy is to work alongside patients to allow them to enjoy good health by focusing on lifestyle, sound medical interventions, and personal wellbeing.
